San Antonio VACATION

We spent the long holiday weekend in San Antonio

The first night we went to the River Walk

and took a boat ride through the canels

We also spent 3 days at Sea World

We fed seals

Miles really liked watching them
and would try to imitate their sounds

We also saw otters (our favorite)

They were also fun to watch

We wanted to take them home for the pool

Alligators... although they didn't do much

This is the entrance, leaving the first night

A picnic in the shade, although it was still very hot

Miles climbed his first tree

(also the 10,000 picture taken with our camera, gotta love digital)

We also went to the water park for a whole day

I got to ride on the roller coaster

with no waiting in line

We also got to feed and pet dolphins

We went to visit them each day we were there

Nicole also wanted to take them home to the pool

Watching the sea lion show we went to

The sea lions act in the show

although they kept messing up which was also funny

We really had a wonderful time

and the pictures don't even do it justice

We also got to see Shamu

Pretty amazing what they can get a 3-ton animal to do

We're already excited to go back

There was also a new show with diving, dolphins, birds and more

The dolphins could jump amazingly high

and then the divers would use these swings to

shoot them into the air

I wanted to try it

I call this one "levitating dolphin"

A truly amazing show

And then back in Galveston we went out for supper

for mama's birthday and Miles posed so well
